What Ben is saying here is that when you do not plan for a future task, you will not be successful in that task. This takes me back to sophomore year. AP European History was my first AP class ever. When the AP exam rolled around that May, I realized that I was unprepared for the test. I ended up with a 3. Junior year I was enrolled in two more AP tests, and with proper preparation I got 4s on both of them. I prepared better, so my performance was more successful.
